Richard Demato

Richard is a creative instigator working with bold leaders that challenge the status quo.

As co-founder of Project X, a boutique consultancy, he leads strategic planning and organizational design for a wide range of clients including global brands, tech start-ups and non-profits. Previously, Richard was the CEO of Common, where he partnered with a group of leading marketers and designers to build a new kind of agency and collaborative network, helping social entrepreneurs and global brands create new, profitable business models and creative approaches to market for the common good.

In 2012, Richard also co-founded The Give, a community workshop series that gathers a thoughtfully curated group of leaders to solve the greatest problem facing an early stage social enterprise. He began his career at the Endeavor talent agency before rising to partner at Fuse Entertainment, where he managed the writers, producers and creators behind hit TV shows such as Gotham, The Mentalist, Burn Notice and Prison Break, and feature films such as Sherlock Holmes and Lego.

He was recently selected as one of GOOD Magazine’s GOOD 100, which honors 100 people moving the world forward through “doing.”

Divya Kapasi

Divya Kapasi

Divya is an international ecommerce consultant and social entrepreneur.

She has over 12 years experience working for Fortune 100 retail companies and startups around the world as a strategist and operator. She is also building GoodList, an online platform to discover social enterprises addressing the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals and businesses working towards positive social impact. Divya is also the New York City Ambassador for Nexus Global Youth Summit, a global community of young people working to increase philanthropy and impact investing by bridging communities of wealth and social entrepreneurship.

Divya was formerly on the Board of Directors at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts and Hostelling International in San Francisco. She holds a BA in Political Science from Boston College, is fluent in Spanish, moderate in French and resides in New York City.

Josh Neckes

Josh Neckes

Josh is a strategic planning specialist working with startups and enterprises alike to develop coherent visions for their businesses.

With deep experience in marketing, business development, and product management, Josh applies a diverse set of skills to help companies articulate and define a clear path to success. Previously, Josh was a member of the executive team at Group Commerce, an e-commerce startup with over $40m in VC funding. Operating at the intersection of marketing and business development, he helped the company grow from seed stage to over 140 employees and achieve an international presence.

Before joining Group Commerce, Josh worked as a management consultant for large brands such as Home Depot, Fed-Ex, and Coca-Cola. He also advised portfolio companies of a number of leading VCs, including Battery Ventures, Jerusalem Venture Partners, Spark Capital and more.

He is also an instructor at General Assembly in NY, where he teaches digital marketing and business fundamentals.

Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson

Brian is a deep thinker who’s fascinated by what happens at the intersection of digital media and culture.

Fueled by this, he completed a PhD in the interdisciplinary study of media, communities, expertise, and the design factors influencing them at Stanford University. He now brings his own expertise in these subjects as well as in applied research, education, game design, and communication to bear on as broad and interesting a variety of problems as he possibly can.

Peter Litvinenko

Peter Litvinenko

Peter is a business development specialist overseeing sales and partnerships for a wide range of businesses.

He began his career in the hospitality industry, managing brands such as B.R. Guest Hospitality and the Standard Hotel. He then became a municipal bond trader for UBS Wealth Management before and next an investment banker at UBS Investment Bank. Following his entrepreneurial passion, he went on to consult for various companies in the tech and start-up sector. His recent experience includes serving as the head of day-to-day operations at the Sumeria Group, securing major sponsorships for SquadUp, and advising on the acquisition of Divvy Down by Booze Carriage.

With a B.S. in Finance and Economics from Bryant University, Peter leverages his experience working with some of the top companies in hospitality, finance, and tech to provide a unique approach and perspective to client projects.

Nadia Alcide

Nadia Alcide

Nadia is a Project Management specialist with a passion for making operations run smoothly.

She is a problem-solver with over 5 years of managerial experience in a variety of industries. Before joining Project X, she worked with leading entrepreneurs and businesses in digital media/branding, hospitality, and business investment, including ABC and Westaway Law, the leading social enterprise law firm.

Nadia received a degree in Hospitality and Business Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida.

The Give

We love solving problems, and saw that our network was hungry for ways to do more good. So, we launched The Give, a free community workshop series for accelerating positive change.

We custom design and facilitate each workshop, curating a diverse group of industry leaders to tackle big challenges faced by emerging social enterprises. By harnessing our collective skills, resources and creativity, we have rapidly mapped solutions to a wide range of issues, from urban revitalization to education reform.
